It’s official: The Hollywood Reporter has just reported that Sophia Myles has been cast in the CBS television series ‘Moonlight‘ as the female lead Beth Turner.

The show centers on a private investigator (Alex O’Laughlin) who is a vampire and struggles with the repercussions of immortality, vampire adversaries and his love for a mortal - Beth Turner, a beautiful, ambitious Internet investigative reporter who is always on the hunt for the big story. In the pilot presentation the role was played by Shannon Lucio.
