Again, very fantastic news! The shortlist for the Bafta Scotland Awards was revealed today by Bafta host and GMTV presenter Lorraine Kelly. Congratulations for our most favourite actress are in order again! Sophia Myles is nominated for the Best Actress award for her performance in ‘Hallam Foe’ – and wait, it only gets better, she’s the only contender in her category, which means she will receive the award for sure!
The rest of the winners will be announced at a glitzy ceremony at the City Halls in Glasgow’s Merchant City on Sunday, November 18. For the first time in the event’s history, the full awards will be streamed live on the internet, giving people outside of Scotland the opportunity to enjoy the night.
‘Hallam Foe’ also got nominated for Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay and Best Actor for Jamie Bell. Congrats to the whole team!
