New Project: Gallows Hill

Some exciting news for all Sophia fans! Sophia will be playing Lauren Reynolds in upcoming metaphysical horror film Gallows Hill.

Filming begins on September 10th 2012, so be sure to keep checking the site for all the latest news!

Edit: 05/09/2012 – Earlier today Sophia tweeted that one of the investors for this project pulled out last minute, unfortunately resulting in the cancellation of filming. Although we are upset that we will not be seeing Sophia in this role, we are postive that something great will come along for her soon 🙂

Edit: 11/09/2012 – Well guys, it seems as if Gallows Hill is back on! Sophia has previously tweeted that she has repacked and hoping to be making it to Bogota, but with the official announcement on the film being made by Hollywood Reporter, it seems that production will be starting shortly! Sophia will be starring alongside Peter Facinelli, Nathalia Ramos, Carolina Guerra and Diego Cadavid.

In addition to the announcement, we also have the following synopsis of the film:

the story follows an American (Facinelli), widowed from his Colombia-born wife, who flies to Bogota with his new fiancée (Myles) to retrieve his rebellious teenage daughter Jill (Ramos). After a car accident leaves them stranded in a rundown isolated inn, they discover the old innkeeper has locked a young girl in the basement and their decision to set her free has unintended consequences.
