Last week the long-awaited poster for ‘Outlander‘ was revealed and thanks to Aaron we have an extra large version of it in the gallery. Thanks a lot!
Be sure to go and have a look! Even though I can’t say I’m happy with the kind of picture they chose for Sophia’s Freya the poster really gives us an idea of how epic this movie’s going to be. I so can’t wait for a trailer!!
In the meantime I recently came across some cute pictures of Sophia Myles on the ‘Outlander‘ set, taken by Sweat - a studio that provided training for the cast during the physically demanding shoot over a year ago.
Wow! A new image from ‘Outlander’ has surfaced. Thanks Aaron for finding it. It shows Sophia Myles as Freya attending to Kainan’s wounds, who is played by Jim Caviezel. Which reminds me somehow of ‘Tristan & Isolde’ ![]()

‘Hallam Foe’ was released on DVD in the UK this past Monday. Today my copy finally arrived in my letterbox and I sat down and capped Sophia Myles’ part in it for you all. I’ll be watching & capping the DVD extras soon. Enjoy!
Related Posts:Thanks to Aaron for this info. It’s been almost a year that ‘Hallam Foe’ premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival. Again, the festival is interesting for us Sophia fans - however not as spectacularly as last year. Apparently, Wild Bunch - ‘Outlander’’s international distributor - is showing a Promo Reel for the film this Saturday and coming Monday. Go here to find out more.
According to ScreenDaily this will be the first time the reel will be shown to people not involved with the production of the film. These presentations probably aren’t open to the public but it sure lets us hope that we might soon see an actual trailer or the like for the film.

A non-’Moonlight’-related update for once. A while ago Aaron sent in 3 pictures of Sophia Myles as Viking princess and warrior Freya on the set of ‘Outlander’. The guy in the pictures is the movie’s executive producer Don Carmody.
And thanks to Mariana I’ve replaced the first 12 photos of the gorgeous ‘Hallam Foe’ Press Tour Portraits with larger versions. Many thanks!

Related Posts:I finally saw ‘Hallam Foe’ last night - and absolutely loved it. Sure, it is a peculiar film with dark material. But it is great and very entertaining nontheless. Even a film to watch again. And it is certainly Sophia’s best work to date! This marks the first time I’ve seen Sophia on the big screen. ‘Mansfield Park’ (I didn’t have time to see in the cinema) and ‘From Hell’ (doesn’t really count) came out before I knew of Sophia. ‘Underworld’ isn’t my cup of tea so I didn’t want to pay to see it in the cinema and ‘Tristan & Isolde’ was on our screens here only for a limited time - and I was not feeling well at that time. All other films didn’t make it to the cinema here in Switzerland. It is a shame for Sophia looks great on the big screen.
I wrote a synopsis of the film, a description of Sophia’s role, collected some quotes from reviews, Sophia interviews and the like and ended with my comments on the film. See it all on this site’s mini-page for Hallam Foe.
What are your thoughts of the film? Don’t hesitate to discuss it in the forum.
Related Posts:Aaron sent me an absolutely phantastic picture of Sophia Myles dressed as Viking princess/warrior Freya in ‘Outlander’ standing next to cinematographer Pierre Gill. Isn’t it the most amazing picture ever? I so hope this film will soon be finished (visit Aaron’s great site to read up on the film’s current status) and we’ll be able to see more!
