The deadline to send in questions for the Fan Q&A is officially over. I would like to thank all of you who have sent in questions in time very much! As I’ve said in my emails your questions are safely stored with me and will be submitted to Sophia Myles. I do know of delays, though. So I’m leaving the page still up here on the site. A non-’Moonlight’-related update for once. A while ago Aaron sent in 3 pictures of Sophia Myles as Viking princess and warrior Freya on the set of ‘Outlander’. The guy in the pictures is the movie’s executive producer Don Carmody.

The Berlin Film Festival is over and ‘Hallam Foe’ has been received very well! The various German and English reviews I’ve read unanimously praise the performances, especially of leading actor Jamie Bell. Some also call the film itself a film jewel. I’ve added some english reviews to this site’s press archive. The film was a favourite with both the critics and the audience making it a likely contender for the main prize. However, the winners of the Berlin Film Festival were all rather unexpected and unpredictable. Read more about it in the messageboard.
Still, director David Mackenzie won a SILVER BEAR FOR THE BEST MUSIC for the use of music in Hallam Foe! Congratulations!!

February 16 is the day ‘Hallam Foe’ will have its world premiere. The programme for the Berlinale is out and here are the dates:

After all the tiresome problems I recently encountered with my previous host I moved the site to GoDaddy.Com. All the information is here already. But please bear with me while I’m working on getting all the over 8,000 pictures and videos on the new server. There might also be some other minor temporary problems, but rest assured I’m working on it!

The latest UK release information (I hope this is definite) for ‘Hallam Foe’ is January 26, 2007.
When you visit the film’s blog you’ll see that they’re trying to build up great mouth-to-mouth-publicity. Part of the strategy are also MySpace accounts for the film characters. Visit the ones for Hallam Foe (Jamie Bell) and Kate Breck (Sophia Myles). Remember, these accounts are for fictive movie characters and the people managing are not the actors but the movie’s publicity people!!

According to the official blog ‘Hallam Foe’ is in its final stages of editing. Tomorrow the director’s cut will be screened for all the financiers.
Today the US DVD of ‘The Hades Factor’ is being released and Part 1 has aired on Sky over the weekend in the UK.
Last week the Marple: Sleeping Murder UK DVD was released. When I got back from my vacation yesterday I finally got round to see this excellent episode. Sophia Myles was brilliant as the young fiancée playing at being worldly yet being a vulnerable 21-year-old. If you haven’t yet seen this, go and buy (or rent) it. The episode is also available on a single disc.
