I finally added a very short interview with Sophia Myles at the Sony Ericsson Empire Awards, February 4, 2004. She was there to present and quickly talked about filming ‘Tristan & Isolde‘. The screencaptures of the video have long been in the photo gallery.

It’s been a long time in the works but finally, the clips of Sophia’s little known guest appearance in the 2001 Christmas episode of British TV-series ‘Heartbeat‘ can be downloaded from our media vault. As my computer has been having trouble encoding video clips, our dear messageboard member Felicia has graciously agreed to encode all of Sophia’s scenes for our viewing pleasure! Thank you so much, we will never forget this!

I finally found the time to encode the promised clips of the scenes featuring Sophia Myles in the 1996 BBC 6 part mini series “The Prince and the Pauper“. After some technical difficulties I was able to use a new method and I hope you will all be able to play it on your end and I’m sure you’ll enjoy the quite high quality of the clips. I’ve finally made some clips of Sophia’s scenes in the 1998 TV mini series “Big Women” about feminism. She stars as teenage Saffron searching for answers 7 years after her mother’s death – this was part 3 of 4 of the series. Since this is extremely hard to come by I’ve made clips of practically all of Sophia’s scenes. This was her first proper acting job after her acting debut in “The Prince and the Pauper“, she was only just 17 when she filmed this. Enjoy!

So sorry to not have put up a reminder to watch Sophia Myles on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson last night but I was in bed with a fever. Anyway, feeling much better now and I have for you clips and caps of the lovely interview. Wasn’t she doing fabulous?! I was sorry to hear about her purse and I hope whoever stole it realizes what a stupid thing to do that was and makes amends.

Not sure which title to use. But with all the excitement that ‘Hallam Foe‘ finally gets released in the US as ‘Mister Foe‘ I remembered I still had some goodies hiding in some folder on my computer.

There are 2 really lovely interviews with Sophia Myles that I found on the German and Swiss DVD editions respectively. Even though the “Swiss” interview looks like the ZDF interview – they were both conducted at the Berlin Film Festival – this one is actually even better. Also straight from last year’s edition of the Berlin International Film Festival: the ‘Hallam Foe’ Photocall & Press Conference as aired on the Livestream at the time. Enjoy!

The world premiere for ‘Outlander‘ at the Film Festival Locarno on Friday is quickly approaching. In the meantime, check out this small clip of the actual movie. I can’t believe how beautiful the light in the scene is, such beautiful cinematography! Sophia’s doesn’t speak in the clip but she does look gorgeous. Head over to YouTube to watch.
