Simply Sophia Myles are delighted to be able to share the news that everybody has been waiting for: Sophia has a new project!
Sophia is set to star in a short film by Jacob Proctor entitled A Sunny Morning. Sophia has been cast as Grace alongside Charlie Cox who will play her husband Adam. Filming is due to start next week.
Grace is on the brink of making a decision that could change the rest of her life after a heated argument with her husband Adam. She’s feeling trapped and alone, jealous of her successful friend and bitter about the choices she made. But is she really willing to give up the life she knows for the chance to recapture her dream?
For more information on A Sunny Morning, visit the official site or find them on Facebook and Twitter

Sophia Myles finished filming ‘Spooks‘ after 5 months this past Saturday! Now, we just have to wait to see what she’s been up to for a few more months – maybe the series will come back to UK TV screens as early as late September 2010!
There are some pictures from one week ago on Facebook of Sophia as Beth Bailey on set of ‘Spooks‘ playing with Ed Hall’s cute dog. A huge thank you to ‘Spooks‘ fan Emma for sharing them with all of us on her Facebook profile.
You may remember that Ed Hall – who directed the final episodes of this upcoming 9th series of ‘Spooks‘ – also directed Sophia in ‘Marple: Sleeping Murder‘ and she has since been quoted as calling him “super bright”. The other of the overall 8 episodes were directed by Michael Caton Jones, Julian Holmes and Paul Whittington.
I’ve added fanart by Chrissy & Natalie of those Facebook pictures:

On British television at least 2 trailers to advertise tomorrow’s BBC1 ‘Dracula’ airing have been shown. They are now available at Youtube & bytheway sent in .wmv versions.
• Trailer 1 (YouTube)
• Trailer 2 (YouTube)
• Trailer 1 & 2 download zipped .wmv versions
Screencaptures of that are coming soon. Meanwhile the artwork for the British DVD is out (view). This announcement got my attention. According to the press release these people got the UK release date seems now to be January 8. And we may not get the additional ‘Deleted Scenes’ after all. I did some checking on all the major UK DVD online sellers and the dates they give are between January 2 – 15… All a bit confusing!
These days Sophia’s back in England. Shooting for ‘Outlander’ is on hold over the Holidays and will resume filming next week. Sophia accompanied David Tennant to his Virgin Radio Christmas pantomime ‘Cinderella’. Thank you Amo for pointing me to pictures of them arriving and leaving the building.

Looks like I was too quick with my update yesterday. Not only did another local internet site confirm the shooting locations but also provide set pictures – also one with a very nice shot of Sophia Myles as Lucy. Visit the local website of Burnham-On-Sea. Quote:
“A spokesman for Granada TV told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The rugged, stark background of Brean Down makes an ideal backdrop. It appears a mystical place and is well suited to Dracula.”
Already in June this year Brean was used to film ‘The Golden Age’ starring Cate Blanchett.
