As you may have already noticed, I have uploaded some screencaptures from The Damned AKA Gallows Hill – it is a fantastic film and if you haven’t already, I suggest you go and watch it RIGHT NOW! (Though don’t make the same mistake as I did and watch it late at night just before bed!!) – You can watch On Demand via iTunes, XBox and Amazon

Also, I have just uploaded a new interview by Sophia about Blackwood, and in particular her character Rachel Marshall.

In the coming days the project pages for Sophia’s most recent projects will be updated with extended story descriptions and information on her roles. As always, if you have any ideas on how we can make this fansite better for visitors or if you come across anything that isn’t working as it should, then please feel free to contact us.

    Major Site, Photo and Video Updates

    It has been a busy few days here at Simply Sophia Myles! Lots of updates to inform you all about so bare with me!

    First of all, our video vault has had a complete overhaul! New layout, new design, and all videos have been converted so that for the first time you can watch our entire archive using your smartphones and tablets (incl. Apple devices). Please feel free to leave your comments and make use of our new rating feature – I would love to know which are your favourite videos (just hit the thumbs up button if you like it!)

    Not to be outdone, our photo gallery has also had a bit of a makeover. I truly hope that you like both of the sites but if you run into any errors then please do not hesitate to contact me and I will resolve any issues ASAP.

    Upon reviewing all the videos in our archive, I realised that screencaptures from Sophia’s appearance on The Wright Stuff to promote Utopia were never added … so even though they are years late, you can now find the screencaptures in the gallery.


    And finally, we have new material from Gallows Hill! I have added new production stills as well as screencaptures from the Making Of video that can be seen in our video vault.

    The Colombian Film Festival 2014

    Excellent news! Gallows Hill has been selected in the ‘Fiction’ category for The Colombian Film Festival 2014.

    Gallows Hill will be screened at Theater 2 Tribeca Cinemas on 28th March 2014 at 8:30 PM (EDT) – you can buy tickets here

    The Colombian Film Festival’s mission is to give Latin American artists the opportunity to be recognized beyond the boundaries of our countries. We provide a networking platform between the Latin film industry and those of the U.S. and the rest of Latin America.

    This year, the festival will launch on March 25, 2014 in Tribeca Cinemas with a red carpet event followed by the world premiere of “Default” by Simon Brand, and will close on March 30 with the U.S premiere of “La Tierra en la Lengua” by Ruben Mendoza. The official selection includes 15 fiction films, 20 short films, four documentaries, and three Latin American blockbusters.

    It has been reported by Screendaily that IFC has picked up North American rights to Gallows Hill after a “strong buyer response at a recent Los Angeles screening”.
