The article says we could find out more about Sophia on their website - but so far I’ve not been able to find anything. I guess, we need to keep our eyes open!

Patrick (and Heather) sent in some very gorgeous photoshoot pictures of Sophia Myles as Beth Turner that will be used as official Promotion pictures for the series. Many thanks!
I’ve also added the scans of the Observer Magazine from early August a while back, as you may have noticed. Sorry for not posting about this on the main site before.

‘Hallam Foe’ opened the 61st Edinburgh International Film Festival earlier today. As most of us guessed Sophia Myles is being kept in the US by the busy shooting schedule for ‘Moonlight’ - they’re currently filming episode 3.
But instead I’m very happy to have for you the scans of Sophia’s features in the September issues of the following UK magazines: Elle - it arrived at my local newsagent today - and Total Film - it arrived in my letterbox also today. The latter one is part of their Hitchcock Special; to quote Total Film: “Hence our wheeze of shooting the stars in stark, Hitch-riffing shadow”. It is in my opinion one of the best-looking Sophia photoshoots ever. Enjoy!

Yesterday’s Stella magazine (The Telegraph’s Sunday magazine) had a similar feature as last week’s Sunday Times: Taking the Baftas as occasion they presented a new generation of talented actresses.

They’re the new generation of British actresses – and we think they’re going to be BIG. But just remember who introduced you to these starlets-in-the-making…Related Posts:

Next week is the 60th anniversary of the Baftas. But who will win the coveted awards in the future? The Sunday Times Magazine assembled a cast of British talent with the ability to go all the way.
Sophia Myles was also tagged a future Bafta winner. I’ve added the scans to the gallery. Again, this is ordinary newspaper paper quality, so not the best. But Sophia still looks gorgeous in the golden dress, doesn’t she?

A little bit of trivia to start this first update of 2007: in a recent Doctor Who Magazine poll Sophia Myles was voted #3 in the category ‘Best Supporting Actress’:
1 Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane Smith)- 26.89%
2 Camille Coduri (Jackie Tyler)- 18.56%
3 Sophia Myles (Reinette)- 18.45%
4 Pauline Collins (Queen Victoria)- 8.35%
5 Tracy-Ann Oberman (Yvonne Hartman)- 7.89%
Others- 19.86%
Despite divided opinions on the latest adaptation of Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’ the BBC programme also starring Sophia Myles proved to be a hit in terms of audience figures:
Thursday’s screening aired on BBC1 at 9pm and was seen by 5.1 million people, a 22% share of the overall audience, making it the day’s most-watched programme in the UK.
Here now the latest gallery additions, including the promised Radio Times and The Times magazine scans:
02 Radio Times
22 Dracula - Trailer
01 Underworld - Stills Thank you Tara
03 The Times - T2 (this magazine is unfortunately printed on low quality paper)

I’ve been doing some more research on the upcoming US airing of ‘Dracula’.
Apparently, it will air on American PBS as part of their masterpiece theatre series (They also aired Sophia’s previous projects Oliver Twist, Foyle’s War and Marple: Sleeping Murder). According to the programme listing the US airing is to be on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 9:00 PM.
However, Shop PBS lists the release date for the Region 1 DVD for January 8, 2007. My guess is the airing date is correct and the DVD release date will be changed to some date soon after February 11th.
As for UK residents: you currently have a chance to see a short glimpse of Sophia in action in the BBC Christmas trailer, the one where they advertise all the upcoming big shows, including Doctor Who. To view it online go to YouTube. As always with youtube I have problems watching it. Could anybody send in screencaps of Sophia’s appearance? That’d be great!!
I’ve added the UK and US Dracula artwork to the gallery. As well as the scan of the new photoshoot of Sophia that goes with her latest interview in the Independent Magazine.
