There is also some new information about the release of the film in other countries. Titled ‘Mister Foe’ the film has a new date for a US release: June 2008. It will come out on a German DVD on March 6. DVD Extras on the German DVD will include Trailer, B-Roll & Soundbites (Pre-Order) and on the Swiss DVD Trailer, Interviews & Photocall. Pre-Order)

It’s official: DigitalSpy is reporting that UK channel Living will be airing ‘Moonlight’ as of February 19 at 10 pm.
Earlier this month, ‘Hallam Foe’ was shown as ‘Mister Foe’ at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. It is supposed to get a theatrical release in the US this March.

And I found this lovely interview with Sophia Myles on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s a real must-see. Sophia talks ‘Hallam Foe’, Edinburgh, ‘Outlander’ and ‘Extras’. Also, since that interview was recorded during the general ‘Hallam Foe’ UK press tour - which I believe took place early June - Sophia obviously didn’t know she’d be doing ‘Moonlight’ next when asked about her upcoming projects.

Great news! ‘Hallam Foe’ will be shown at the 61st Edinburgh International Film Festival, August 15-26! Also the theatrical UK release date has been confirmed to be August 31, 2007.
In Germany the film will start showing on the big screen August 30 and in Switzerland September 20. There’s no date for the US yet.

Tomorrow, ‘Tristan & Isolde’ is being released in German and Swiss cinemas and on Friday in Austria! The German official site.
The ‘The Hades Factor’ Region 1 DVD will be released on July 25, 2006 . Pre-Order DVD

‘Tristan & Isolde’ won’t open on March 24 in the UK as previously announced but on April 28, 2006. Also the release date in Italy has been postponed to April 7 - instead of opening today. This also seems to have delayed the release date for Italian Switzerland. It’s a shame because I had planned to travel there and see it tomorrow. For German speaking regions the release date stays at May 18, 2006.

Lately, we were getting used to hear that the release dates for Sophia’s projects were being postponed. Now I’m happy to announce that ‘Tristan & Isolde’ has a new - and earlier - release date: January 13, 2006 (US). Thanks Tara for telling me about it!

Considering that ‘Art School Confidential’ was supposed to be released on September 30 in the States, there’s much to little promotion material available. I’ve recently heard unconfirmed information about a possible release date change and now I’ve found the following information on a pretty accurate site about Daniel Clowes:
“The release date has been changed from 9/30/05 to March 2006″.
I suppose it’s sad but true.

‘Tristan & Isolde’ finally has a release date! That’s the good news. The bad news is, this date isn’t in the near future: It’s February 3, 2006 (US)!
