What a relief to feel fully recuperated from some ghastly fever on a holiday! I can really use the time to catch up on things, eh? I’ve made some HQ captures of Sophia Myles in last week’s episode of ‘Moonlight‘. Because I hadn’t been able to post about this episode before (due to the site being down) here the synopsis for Fated to Pretend:
When Beth is kidnapped by a suspect in the murder case of her boss at Buzzwire, Mick is forced to decide whether saving her is worth sacrificing being human again.

Forgive me for the very loong delay in adding screencaptures from ‘Moonlight’s episode 12 called ‘The Mortal Cure’. It was the last episode before the long hiatus caused by the writers’ strike and Sophia Myles isn’t in that many scenes. Her Beth Turner is still mourning Josh’s death and discovering some interesting things when receiving all of his things from the office.

There is also some new information about the release of the film in other countries. Titled ‘Mister Foe’ the film has a new date for a US release: June 2008. It will come out on a German DVD on March 6. DVD Extras on the German DVD will include Trailer, B-Roll & Soundbites (Pre-Order) and on the Swiss DVD Trailer, Interviews & Photocall. Pre-Order)

‘Hallam Foe’ was released on DVD in the UK this past Monday. Today my copy finally arrived in my letterbox and I sat down and capped Sophia Myles’ part in it for you all. I’ll be watching & capping the DVD extras soon. Enjoy!

I added the screencaptures of the second to last episode of ‘Moonlight’: Love Lasts Forever. It was indeed a very powerful episode, featuring very strong performances. I was especially impressed by how this episode showcased Sophia’s acting talents. While I wouldn’t go so far as to call this my favourite episode it is certainly the one which touched me the most. Congratulations to the whole Moonlight team!

I am so sorry for my delay in bringing you the latest pictures of ‘Moonlight’ but here we go.
News on the series itself sound promising! After a short break over Thanksgiving - that allowed Sophia Myles to jet to London and quickly see her family and friends for the first time since July - cast & crew are busy shooting episode 12. As we all know this is the last script because of the writers’ strike and might actually really be the season finale. However, read what Les Moonves, CBS Corp. president & CEO, said at the 35th annual UBS Global Media & Communications Conference in New York on December 4: two freshman shows (‘Moonlight’ and ‘The Big Bang Theory’) are likely to return next season source. Sounds good to me!
Also thanks mrfg for informing me that the series has been airing in Brazil for about a month now. It’s on The Warner Channel, 10 pm, every Wednesday. So, be sure to tune in!

Wow! I think this has to be my favourite episode so far. I enjoyed how the character of Beth Turner was further developed - and obviously that means Sophia Myles could only shine even more! As always the episode also has a great visual style - except for maybe the final balcony scene where the colours indeed are a bit over the top - but I’m hopelessly romantic so I’m in love with that scene. I have for you as always gorgeous HQ screencaptures of the episode. Enjoy!
