I’ve added 3 more pictures from the Thunderbirds Promotional Photoshoot. Credit for 2 of those goes to Josephine. Thanks a lot! There’s also a gorgeous Japanese Artwork for ‘Tristan & Isolde’. Good news for visitors in the UK: Tristan & Isolde is coming on DVD 11th September.

I’ve added screen caps of Sophia as the fabulous Lady Penelope in Thunderbirds. After finally seeing the film I agree with all the critics in one respect, Sophia Myles is the perfect Lady P! Apart from that I thought the film was quite entertaining and fun. Also in the gallery are captures of the DVD Extras.
There are even more additions: Captures of the additional scenes featuring Sophia as Erika in the Underworld - Extended Cut. And DVD Extras of ‘Out of Bounds’.

At the end she lists Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson as the actors she’s admiring. And that she’d really love to work with Woody Allen. Well, she admires Scarlett, Scarlett worked with Terry Zwigoff 3 years ago and this year with Woody. Sophia’s currently working with Terry Zwigoff and….who knows??

‘Thunderbirds’ is to be released on DVD in the UK on November 15 - in the US on December 21. Great news - especially if one thinks that it still hasn’t come to theatres in Switzerland. After being released on DVD in the US, ‘Out of Bounds’ was re-released on DVD in the UK last week. I still have some more information on that film to add to this site…

The UK premiere for ‘Thunderbirds’ took place Sunday a week ago, on July 18. According to news reports Sophia Myles had the best entrance - she came rolling in sitting in the pink FAB 1. See the pictures here.
And since I took my time with updating, the LA premiere has also already taken place - on July 24, last Saturday. The pictures are here.

I was on vacation - that’s the reason why I wasn’t updating lately. But now I’m back and there’s fantastic news: Sophia Myles is doing another movie. She wrote a message in the guestbook telling me about it. The movie’s called ‘Art School Confidential‘ and is being directed by Terry Zwigoff and based on the comic book by Daniel Clowes. In that, the movie resembles Ghost World. Also in it is John Malkovich, Jim Broadbent and Angelica Houston. Max Minghella, 19-year old son of director Anthony Minghella, stars as Jerome, the title character. He goes off to art school convinced that he’ll become a great artist. Instead, he comes to learn that he has undeveloped talent and watches the girl of his dreams fall in love with another artist. He is then inadvertently accused and arrested for being a murderer and thus becomes the celebrity artist he always dreamed of being. My guess is that Sophia will play that girl.
