I came across an interview with Bill Nighy about ‘Underworld: Rise of the Lycans‘. In it he shared an anecdote of what happened on the set of the first installment (2003):
Does six hours of makeup help you get into character?
“Nope! It doesn’t help in any way whatsoever! It’s just aweful. Luckily, I only had to do it in the first one. I never have to do it again. ‘Pirates,’ the future, is computer generated. I didn’t have to wear any of it. It’s all computer generated and that’s the future and I’m very happy. They put me in a prosthetics truck with these very nice guys who for six hours apply with industrial adhesive chunks of latex to your body so that you can barely move. They then put contact lenses in and fangs, then nobody will have lunch with you any more. Literally, Sophia Myles in the first one who was supposed to have lunch with me before she saw the makeup, she actually said ‘Bill I can’t really…’ she was backing away because she freaked out. And in fact they got a model of my body; an electronic version of me and they showed it to Sophia just innocently and she went up to look at the head and then they turned it on and it sat up and its mouth fell open and she nearly had a heart attack. And they have it on video, they were very pleased with themselves that they’d scared Sophia so bad.”

The trailer for ‘Art School Confidential’ is out. Thank you Steven and everybody else who informed me about this! View it at: ComingSoonNet or download the quicktime version here.
Also, the movie will be shown at the New York Comic-Con, a comics convention which is set to debut Feb. 24 – 26 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. The screening for ASC takes place on Saturday, February 25 from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are required – but only 350 people will be let in. Info at NyComicCon.
I’ve installed a new and improved gallery script. However, the gallery layout adapted to the main site’s look isn’t working anymore. So, for the time being we have a different one – just so you know.
I added 2 official wallpapers with Sophia Myles. 1 from Underworld and 1 from Underworld: Evolution. Even though Sophia didn’t shoot any scenes for Underworld: Evolution she is listed in the credits. I’ve been told she appears in flashbacks.

Huge update in the gallery:
I’ve added screen caps of Sophia as the fabulous Lady Penelope in Thunderbirds. After finally seeing the film I agree with all the critics in one respect, Sophia Myles is the perfect Lady P! Apart from that I thought the film was quite entertaining and fun. Also in the gallery are captures of the DVD Extras.
There are even more additions: Captures of the additional scenes featuring Sophia as Erika in the Underworld – Extended Cut. And DVD Extras of ‘Out of Bounds’.
