British Glamour – Sophia Myles

from Glamour UK, December 2006

We asked 12 of the UK’s hottest names in film, TV and fashion to choose from this season’s most covetable party looks and tell us what glamour means to them…

Sophia Myles
Actress, soon to be seen playing Lucy in the new BBC adaptation of Dracula

“The word glamour suggests being unafraid to be sexy and being daring with your look. I’ve been doing photo shoots for ten years now and at the beginning I’d never have been brave enough to wear hotpants. But as I’ve got older, I’ve become more comfortable in my own skin and now I’m more inclined to say, ‘Sod it’ and embrace the notion of glamour for all it’s worth. True glamour goes hand in hand with inner confidence.”
