To all the visitors of Simply Sophia Myles, I hope you have a truly wonderful Christmas wherever you are in the world!

As a gift from me to you, I have uploaded 38 production stills and 37 on set images from The Damned as well as Blu-Ray screencaptures of one of Sophia’s best known projects, Doctor Who: The Girl in the Fireplace.

‘Tristan & Isolde’ Blu-ray Screencaptures

On the quest to have our site’s gallery totally up to date we have now also replaced the existing ‘Tristan & Isolde‘ DVD Screencaptures with full high quality Blu-ray Screencaptures. Sophia’s portrayal of the Irish princess in love with English warrior Tristan in this tragic love story is very moving and it’s one of her best performances! Enjoy seeing up close the expressions in her face, the details in her hair & costume as well as the scenic background in these new ultra large caps.

‘Underworld’ Blu-ray Screencaptures

You may not remember this but this site (first online November 4, 2003) was originally not hosted on its own domain. Today, April 14, marks the 9th anniversary of sophiamyles.org – although the content of the site wasn’t actually to be found at this address until May 7, 2004. Anyway, I decided to mark this anniversary by replacing the existing DVD screencaptures of Sophia Myles as naughty & scheming vampire Erika in 2003’s ‘Underworld‘ with ultra high quality Blu-ray screencaptures . Enjoy!

‘Sleeping Murder’ Blu-ray Screencaptures

The second series of Marple – including ‘Sleeping Murder‘ starring Sophia Myles – is available on Blu-ray in Spain. Even though the quality of the picture isn’t what you’d expect (probably given that the source material was made for TV before HD) it’s still better than the DVD so I replaced the screencaptures in the gallery with new ones. Enjoy!

‘Outlander’ Blu-ray Screencaptures & More

I replaced the ‘Outlander‘ screencaptures in the gallery with Blu-ray quality ones. This marks a first on this site! I’m sure you’ll enjoy the better pictures of Sophia as Viking warrior princess Freya!

While I was at it I also replaced the captures of a few deleted scenes from the French DVD with captures of all deleted scenes – as featured on most other DVDs. Also the Making Of captures are now available in DVD quality. And I added a few stills that were still missing.
