Watch ‘Moonlight’ tonight!

Tonight at 9pm ET Episode 4 called ‘Fever’ airs on CBS. Please make sure to watch since it is a very promising episode. If you haven’t yet seen any promo clips head over to Moonlight Fans to watch an exclusive clip from the episode (if you do not want to be spoiled at all, don’t watch). Also the show’s ratings are under scrutiny and will decide whether ‘Moonlight’ will get a full season (or just 13 episodes). So make sure to watch. Another way to support the show is to buy the episodes online on Amazon or iTunes. Watching it on the official site probably also helps.

The synopsis for ‘Fever’:

Mick is injured in his search for a young woman who is believed to be hiding in the desert. But when the scorching sunlight depletes Mick’s vampiric ability to heal himself, Beth must rush to help him.

And 2 additional HQ stills from Episode 2: Out of the Past

‘Moonlight’ premieres tonight!

Ok, the wait is over (for US residents at least): ‘Moonlight’ premieres tonight at 9pm EST on CBS (check local listings). Be sure to watch and tell all of us who won’t be able to catch it what you think of it and most of all Sophia Myles in the forum!

Here the synopsis of Episode 1 ‘No Such Thing as Vampires’:

““Undead” private investigator Mick St. John (Alex O’Loughlin) helps the living, instead of feeding on them, by using his acute vampire senses. In the opener, Mick probes the vampire-like murder of a college student and reconnects with a woman (Sophia Myles) from his past, who is now an investigative reporter. It’s soon learned that the victim was taking an ancient mythologies class taught by a man who claims he’s a vampire.”

In the meantime visit Moonlight Fans or watch a clip from VH1 All Access on YouTube (thanks Patricia for the heads up). Remember, if you come across any Sophia features in magazines/on TV be sure to think of this site and send it in. Thanks! Additionally to VH1 she might appear on E!News, Entertainment Tonight and Daily Ten. And November Issue #220 of TV Zone magazine apparently has an interview with Sophia Myles.

‘Moonlight’ Press conference & Premiere date

Sophia Myles has arrived in LA! (preview pictures) Yesterday was Day 9 of the TCA (Television Critics Associatio) Summer Press Tour and the cast of ‘Moonlight’ were present during the CBS portion of the event. Apart from Sophia also Shannyn Sossamon, Jason Dohring, Alex O’Loughlin as well as executive producers Joel Silver and David Greenwalt were present. If you have some un-watermarked pictures or even a video please don’t hesitate to send them in. It is much appreciated.

Today is the first day of shooting for the proper pilot episode and I hope everything goes well for the production. The premiere date for the show has been announced as well: As of September 28 US residents will be able to watch Sophia Myles every Friday night on CBS at 9 p.m. ET.

In case you were wondering why the show was recast you may be interested in reading CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler’s explanation:

“What we had with ‘Moonlight’ was a great opportunity. We had a great concept, and we made the best choices relative to time (while shooting the pilot). And don’t forget, it was a presentation. And with a presentation, you get a chance to sort of get a glimpse at what the series might be. When we picked up the show to go to series, we were able to make some adjustments, able to make some changes to improve the show. Not that we didn’t like it to begin with — we saw an opportunity to better some of the choices. More importantly, your pilot really is sort of your ‘launching pad’ into the series. And that’s what happened with ‘Moonlight.’

There will be another outing for the cast: Together with producer Joel Silver they are scheduled to make an appearance at the Comic-Con on Friday, July 27, 1:00-2:00 pm. If anyone’s going, could you send in a report?

‘Dracula’ airs tonight!!

Don’t forget: ‘Dracula’ airs tonight on BBC1 in the UK.

This is probably my last update this year – unless I somehow get the promised magazines & scans before. So I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Sophia Myles for being an inspiration to all of us. Her performances certainly enlighten the programmes we watch for our entertainment. Career-wise, it has been an amazing year for Sophia Myles. Congratulations!

2006 saw the release of ‘Tristan & Isolde’, ‘Art School Confidential’, ‘Marple: Sleeping Murder’, and ‘The Hades Factor’ on the big or silver screen as well as on DVD. Residents from the UK as well as from other parts of the world have been exposed to Sophia Myles’ magic. Additionally, her guest appearances in ‘Extras’ and ‘Doctor Who’ have proven that producers are not unfamiliar with her name and what it stands for: credible, natural, enchanting and passionate performances. Sophia Myles has been busy working on upcoming projects: ‘Hallam Foe (shot in Scotland March 27 – May 11, 2006), ‘Dracula’, which airs tonight (shot in England August 7 – 27, 2006) and ‘Outlander’ during the past few weeks in isolate Nova Scotia, Canada. This is certainly an exciting project as it will bring back Sophia Myles to the big screen in a rather commercial production.

Also many thanks & best wishes to you, loyal visitor: your appreciation of & gratitude for my work here on SophiaMyles.Org have been very encouraging. Let’s not forget my trusted helpers. You know who you are, everyone who contributed something, be it pictures, infos, big or tiny, your help is much appreciated. Without further ado: Welcome to 2007!
